Marrying right is beautiful and marrying at the right time is awesome. But some Christians experience marital delays and this can be dealt with. For some Christian singles, these are the causes of marital delay:

(1) Witchcraft and Satanic Powers: Some Christian singles are hindered because of evil powers such as spiritual husband, foundational powers, witchcraft etc. While they may be born again, if they do not destroy such evil powers, it may affect them.

(2) Religious Patterns: Some Christian singles may hardly or never bend if the marriage process or wedding does not come from their church, dogmatic belief system etc. So they may wait until a person appears that suits that pattern. This may cause marital delay.

(3) Ungodly Taste: If a Christian has hidden idols in the heart that has not been dealt with, such as: quest for certain physical looks, particular tribe, love for rich persons, undue standards etc. This may cause marital delay, as finding such a person may take time. Allow God take the lead.

(4) Quest for Big Weddings: I advise you do easy wedding processes and small weddings. This is good, especially if you are advanced in age. Undue desire for big weddings may cause marital delay as you may have to wait until such standard is met.
