Video trends as man attacked Las Vegas Clark County Judge in Court after she denies his probation (Watch)

Judge Mary Kay Holthus of the Clark County District Court in Las Vegas faced a violent incident on Wednesday, January 3, as she delivered a sentence for felony battery.

During the sentencing of 30-year-old Deobra Redden, the convict forcibly broke free and violently brought her to the ground.

Despite Redden’s attorney advocating for probation for his client, Judge Holthus remained steadfast in her decision.

Following Holthus’s remark about him needing to “get a taste of something else,” Redden vaulted over the bench and assaulted her, creating pandemonium in the courtroom.

Several individuals, including the bailiff, promptly intervened to restrain Redden amidst the chaos, with screams and scuffles persisting. Some even managed to land punches on Redden before the tumultuous incident finally concluded.

According to information from 8 News Now, sources revealed that Judge Holthus hit her head during the frightening incident but was ultimately unharmed.

Redden has a history of encounters with the law and has faced Judge Holthus in previous instances. He was previously brought before the judge for charges related to property destruction and served a one-year prison sentence for a separate domestic battery charge.

In November, Redden pleaded guilty to making threats to harm a man’s kneecaps in April, causing “substantial bodily harm.” Following a missed court appearance in December, Holthus issued a bench warrant for his arrest.

  2. It look like this guy Redden is notorious for being violent, and even does not fear the consequence, otherwise, how will he even think of attacking the judge in that manner?, The judge that is handling his case

    1. This is serious oh,he must have believed that the judgment will favor him,now it has gone the other way round, but he should be arrested for that

  3. i don’t understand how this is possible in a court room
security personnels should take responsibility of this
